United Airlines will enforce a stricter check-in cutoff of 45 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights, effective June 3. Travelers arriving late may be denied boarding, even if they have no checked bags.
American Airlines has removed bag sizers from boarding gates. Gate agents will now use discretion when enforcing carry-on size limits. Bag sizers will still be available in check-in areas.
